Good understanding of Biological interactions and pathways.GenomicsRole of Matrix attachment regions in parasite organisms, Role of transcription factors in microorganisms.Eligibility: B.Tech/M.Tech (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics) with programming skills in Perl/PHP.Protein sequence analysisPrediction of phosphorylation sites using Machine learning, Identifying the role of sequence variations (SNPs) in L-type calcium/Voltage sensitive sodium channels/KATP channels.Eligibility: B.Tech/M.Tech (Biotechnology/Bioinformatics) with programming skills in Perl.NOTE: A student from Bharath University is continuing his work he did in our company as his Master's thesis at NTU, Singapore.Data MiningMining information from the Biomedical literature.Eligibility: B.Tech/M.Tech (Bioinformatics/Computer Science, I.T.) with good programming skills in C/Perl & exposure to Linux/Unix OS. Exposure to open source philosophy and softwares highly desirable.Ontology and DatabasesMapping information from BioMedical literature to uniprot, Development of Drug database.
